Bismillah. A little about the face behind ENROBE. I’m a mother of 2 and hold multiple degrees (outside of fashion design for those wondering).
If you’ve known me as a person, you know that I am very purpose driven. So here’s a little story about how and why ENROBE has come to fruition.
I’ve always been passionate about modesty and the value and emphasis it has in faith and the role that it has had in shaping the person that I am (hijab story for another day).
Amidst a backdrop of unfolding global events I found a profound shift in my consumer choices. It became so evident that alignment with my personal values was paramount. I took a look through some of my closet staples and found that so many of these were from brands whose ethos no longer resonated with me.
ENROBE began as a nagging idea, that women who value modesty should have more choices that offer quality and practicality, but also an option to purchase from brands that embody compassion and help to build the communities that we are a part of.
As a modest clothing brand my vision for this brand is so much more than providing clothing. I’d like for ENROBE to be a leader in the space of clothing brands that give back to our community and support and help the most marginalized in our communities.
Needless to say that there is so much to learn and so much growth yet to come, the response that I have been getting from everyone has been so overwhelmingly positive and I am so grateful for that.
